Has anyone done a closer analysis of this tree-planting bill? I get that it wouldn't, on its own, stop climate change and isn't a substitute for cutting emissions. But like what kinds of trees? Where would they go? Who plants them? How would this work?

The Coronary Drug Project was one of the 1st big randomized clinical trials. I would love to find out what happened to participants after the trial, but the participant lists were lost 😫. So, I’m putting it out to the twitterverse. Anyone have any leads?🙏🏼

I'll be honest, I have not read this paper. I skipped straight to the graphs and looked at all of those, and I am very pleased with my experience.

PSPB editors during the replication failure decade (Kitayama, Wegener & Fabrigar, ). - No open science badges. - No major changes in replicabilty - Still evidence of QRPs in 2019. - Lost opportunity to learn from crisis.

Thanks! Our paper "Bribing the Self" (with , and Roel van Veldhuizen) was very nicely described in this piece. We show how people self-deceive, acting unethically while feeling good about themselves... ...and how self-deception can be constrained

Réprimandez moins les élèves, complimentez plutôt les comportements positifs! Plus le rapport entre le nombre de compliments et le nombre de réprimandes faits par un enseignant augmente, plus les élèves sont concentrés sur leur travail.

Learning by doing. We are poor judges of what will actually be successful—especially when we do something only a handful of times. The reason why Pablo Picasso and Woody Allen became masters of their craft is because they generated quantity first.
