personally I don't care who voices the criticism, what I care much more about is that it is constructive and well intended*. (*this excludes chronically "well intended" stuff of course)

Disagree. In mild cases, this leads to ignorance that harms yourself, because you do not recognise the problem, and therefore the criticising party as an authority. Practiced on a large scale, this attitude leads to the „bubbles“ that everybody condemns.
