Just sharing a refresher “The President of the Senate shall, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted; -- The person having the greatest number of votes for President, shall be the President”

Near-immediate clarification from Grassley. Good lesson here. Gonna be lots of misinformation going on. Grain of salt.

From a totally non-partisan perspective, and only as a dog owner, I'm tweeting this because it's cute.

For a story I'm doing: has anyone used sites like Vitals, Google's reviews, Yelp, Trustpilot etc. to find a new medical doctor? I'd love to talk with you about it.

I keep having dreams in which I'm walking around in Penn Station in NYC and I suddenly realize I'm not wearing a mask, nor is anyone else. I think, "I'm going to get Covid." Anyone else having dreams like this?

Under the circumstances can anyone blame me for spending a little time watching old Ann Reinking dance videos? May she RIP.

This is very big news, HP is moving its headquarters out of Silicon Valley. Historically, HP was really the first tech company to set up shop there so there is a lot of symbolism in this.

I've been meaning to share this. For those who heard my story on fake reviews on Google and Yelp: here is the source of much of my research on it. If you want to know whether reviews of a product or business are real go here.

Apropos of nothing, the Confederacy's refusal to actually accept defeat and instead embrace a Lost Cause narrative of betrayal was a key aspect of its successful efforts to wrench back one-party totalitarian control of the South, which it did both through violence and propaganda.

One of the more important questions for Biden: who will be the next postmaster general. My mail has been slowed and they took away the mailbox closest to my house. I’d like to see the mail improve.

Not entirely true Mr White. They are flagged on a regular basis. Though there are lots of tweets that get through the cracks. You pay attention!

In hearings w. Zuck and Dorsey Sen. Ted Cruz says that unless the social media companies block nothing on their platforms, they are publishers and should lose the sec. 230 protections. So, does Sen Cruz think terrorists should tweet their hearts out too? where is the line?

Another point of view on this might be that the current players are already entrenched and 230 allows them to continue to grow while spending no money on taking responsibility for what is on their platforms.

Here's my gripe about this tweet label-- the claim of election fraud is completely false. There is NO evidence of major fraud. It's nice that Twitter is flagging this, but I'm curious if a "disputed" label would be put on a tweet denying the holocaust.
