I came to this space as game developer that had high contacts within a game studio. The goal was to create the first AAA NFT game. We needed significant funding, but we hadn't proved ourselves in the space yet. And our knowledge of it was limited.
What we failed to realize was that the ability to create a good game isn't enough. So much more is needed to be successful in this space. Our team was lacking in vital areas. Areas we are now filling up, though should have been filled long before mint.
The vision and ability to execute the game has and always will be secured - though the vision with NFT art has fallen so incredibly short. After raising so much in funding it would have been a wiser decision to cancel reveal and announce we are using the funds to revamp the NFTs
We tried to build something unique. 3D characters you can edit and interact with, and later name, feed and look after virtually. It failed and we have let many people down. 90% of everyone I know in this space hates me right now. Again, I understand. I deserve it. All of it.

What I'm saying is sorry. On behalf of myself. On behalf of Pixelmon. For the poor way we have begun our journey. Our journey has just begun and we will work hard to earn back the trust of the community no matter how long it takes
Regardless of the hate and threats that I am receiving on Twitter I will not go anywhere. The goal hasn't changed. The funds will still be used to build our game. The game is in the hands of a professional studio that has over 500 employees. We will see this project through.
