I usually answer that with "Probably, but does it really matter? And if so why does it matter?" and then just go on from there till one of us is done.

My usual answer. Depends on whether or not you think reality is binding. Think about it, you'll never see your face as others do. So all words from other people could technically be false, or an illusion. And you have no way to verify that. *Watches their face change*
