pic.twitter.com/t0DbmZNq8PIt's not quite that cheap but you can get pretty cheap Raspberry Pi cameras too. If you don't even have a computer a low-end Pi plus a CSI camera sans mic is probably workable.

This and ps3eye don't work on 64-bit windows last I checked. (there's only a 32-bit driver available) Both work out of the box (no downloads, plug and play just like a DS3 controller) on Ubuntu. Didn't try other linux distros. Could stream video out of a VM, if you cared.
