We’ve got an update: DDOT says they have a crew out fixing the pedestrian signals at Dave Thomas Circle. I guess the person in charge is back in the office.

24 hours after @DDOTDC learned the crosswalk timers at Dave Thomas Circle don’t count correctly, going from 98 to 7 seconds within 1 second and turning red for 5 seconds before going back to 99, nothing has been done. I know at least two other crosswalks have been perpetual problems over the last few years--with erratic timers, too short timing, etc. I really wish

They need a licensed engineer to make a determination since it involves public safety. Unlicensed individuals won't want to speak on it as it may be interpreted as practicing engineering without a license.
