    This was a really good package on motorway litter on but I feel that they did not focus enough on the cause of the problem - inconsiderate people throwing stuff out of their cars and lorries!

    In the face of does a city with a population of 460k really need to expand an airport that already provides capacity for 10 million flights (or 20 flights for every citizen) per year?!

    Can I help this battle with a little fact that Moscow underground (which is a series of tunnels) is also a "paleontology museum" because it has fossils in the walls?

    It’s not every day you find fossils in a supermarket floor. That’s an ammonite, right? So what’s the fish-like thing? I’m no palaeontologist but something tells me it’s not a Cretaceous fish?

    Ready for the first outing of our lovely resources from . Students undertake rock descriptions and scientific drawings, do some trigonometry to produce a notional graphic log, and interpret a hydrocarbon trap. To add to the atmosphere some core samples reek of oil!

    Intrusion of magma in southwest continues, as does the associated swarm. To quote the experts: "...magmatic intrusion at 3 to 9 km depth just west of Þorbjörn. It is most likely that this activity will stop without any volcanism."
