Hence the commonly used phrase, "Free/open source is free like a puppy, not free like beer." FOSS is a living, evolving thing which requires maintenance, and that comes at a cost.

Not that anyone's actually asked my opinion, but since I'm feeling judged, I'm going to state it anyway: You won't ever see *me* putting any of the things *I* do for open source behind something which you have to pay for before knowing what you're getting.
