Claimants can still block monetization or the video itself, but timestamps help you edit out the claim.

Congratulations YouTube. It only took you 3 years to come up with this solution. It took less time to put a man on the moon than it did for you to realise that corrupt corporations are only in this for the money and not for fair use.

yeah but it still does not work. since some claimants have given false email addresses in the claims. So there is no way to contact them, and only they can remove the claims.

Yes, it's far from a perfect solution. But it should help deter most of these 3rd parties that claim music on behalf of other companies solely for the purpose of claiming the ad revenue.
