So YouTube decides to screw over small channels when a big channel caused the problem. This makes no sense... YouTube should work out something with their advertisers so they actually know which the videos their ads on. You’re algorithm is flawed. @YouTube

Another option, you could make all YouTubers have a window of unlisted time mandatory so that SOMEONE (like a live actual person) can watch the video first, give that video a solid “good for advertisers” icon. Then the creators can fwel comfident about going public.

I’m pretty sure content creators would be happy to wait a couple minutes or hours to ensure monetization is good to go on their video instead of just blindy shooting out videos into YouTube *hoping* that their video won’t violate any rules.

With these current new changes, I can just upload Family Friendly content for a couple months, get monetized, then after that, I can go on a stupid rampage of shitpost and cancer. In the end, you’d still have to do something about that, right
