the thing about "the (re)distribution of sex" as a phrase is that, while sex absolutely can be a commodity, it isn't inherently nor always so, and this wording can only reinforce the suspicion that women as a class are responsible for its withholding *as* a commodity

i suppose it's the difference between granting solidarity and pursuing personal friendships, these things are different - both shaped by politics, but fundamentally different acts that should be discussed differently

and again, for the men in the back who weren't listening: sex and romance is already distributed, every single day, but implicit or explicit threats of violence against women. you can be progressive, or want to formalise that arrangement, but you cannot be both my guy
