Hey @TeamYouTube , can y'all tell me why I got a (blessed-ly skip-able) ad on a video I was about to watch while I am paying for YouTube "Premium"? (And have been for several years for exactly that reason?)

That doesn't seem right. Can you confirm if you're logged in to the right account associated with the membership? Keep us posted.

I was logged into to the only account I have on YouTube (my smart tv automatically logs me in whenever I select the YouTube app). The reason I know I was logged in is because I went to watch a video from one of my subscribed channels.

Thanks for confirming. Could you try resetting the app and restarting the TV? Also, take a look at our resource on YouTube Premium supported devices: https://yt.be/help/Wygz . Let us know.

This is a newer model samsung smart tv. It came with the YouTube app already installed(?) on it. Just finished removing and adding back my account to the tv.

Ah, got it. If that doesn't fix the issue, we recommend getting in touch with our Premium Support team who can look into this further: http://yt.be/help/hh11 . Hope this gets resolved.

Given that it only happened the one time (it was earlier this past week) and I've no issues since, I may just pin it on faulty WiFi. Thank you for responding so quickly.
