It’s not about pushing Biden anywhere. It’s about the left having the freedom to organize as the opposition when Dems are in power.

So... how'd that go for DAPL?

Also, when were DAPL or Occupy or BLM or anti-war or anti-deportation or any other protests channeled into organizing a legit left challenge/alternative to Dems at the local level? AOC etc was the best that came of that, and that’s all STILL inside the party.

The point here is that a Biden presidency doesn't make organizing the left any easier than Trump. In fact, it makes it harder... because every fascist thing Joe does will be covered up by centrists and generic media. The same way they did for Obama/DAPL.

A Biden presidency is a greater opportunity for the left because: a) Dem lip service to progressive policies is opening for organizing / action / challenge when they predictably do otherwise b) DNC can’t monopolize opposition, they’ll be in power.

No, a Biden presidency would crush the left far more. By voting Joe, you reward election rigging, political hostage taking/blackmail, and put the left in a position where they're completely ignored, because the center goes back to sleep and brunch. ⬇️

Not only that, but Biden is certain to push the same policies that gave us Trump. Pair that the irreversible climate change he'll lie & do nothing to stop - and you get far worse than Trump. THANKS to Joe. Malcolm X put it best with his wolf/fox analogy.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHzNFQXTUOQ&t=108s …

That is why we need to organize and mobilize where there are opportunities: local candidates like @chesaboudin who can show progressive policies work; and electoral reforms like #RankedChoiceVoting to give 3rd parties and ind’s a chance. Pres. gen. election is no opportunity yet
