This victim wanted the restorative justice option that the D.A. is pursuing. This is honoring the victim’s wishes.

I read the article man. And after I did I don’t believe it. Maybe I’m exaggerating, I just don’t believe it. The man lives in the same neighborhood. Doubt he isn’t scared.

You’re welcome to believe whatever you want. I don’t doubt the guy is scared. Perhaps he understands that locking up the guy who filmed it for any number of years isn’t going to make him safer, but maybe a legit restorative justice process might.

We will all believe what we want, but it’s pretty naive to think you know that the victim wants exactly what you want him to want in resorative justice.

I’m believing that the D.A.’s office is not falsely claiming to know and be following the wishes of a crime victim, something that could easily be fact-checked or could result in a lawsuit if they were lying about it.

And like I said, maybe not with this victim but I see a many lawsuits coming down the road. That was literally my response to this.

Sure dude. Don’t let the facts get in the way of your pre-existing biases.

I’m sure you the type that questioned everything until your guy got in. All of a sudden he’s a reliable government worker. FOH.

Project all you want. Sure, I’d like to see the outcomes of this and other RJ efforts. For now though, honoring a victim’s wishes is a positive step. And aiming to reduce crime and our broken prison system are goals I support.
