Assuming the 49,000 full-electric cars now on Dutch roads* use 2,500 kWh/year each (good for 12,500-15,000 km), they have driven up national electricity demand by ~0.1% *mostly parked, like all other cars ;)

Running mostly on coal power, aren't they?
-
Yes, natural gas and coal seem to be the main sources in NL for now.
-
But as far as I know all the public (fast) charging networks in NL have a contract with a "green" energy provider. It's the only they can do right now, buy in from green sources. At some point that won't fit though.
-
By 2030, 75% of all electricity generated in NL will be from renewables.

En dat heeft hoeveel gekost voor de overheid?
-
Ik ken het nl systeem niet... klimaatbeleid en transitie kosten geld. Vraag is wie betaalt.
-
Het is denk ik een korting op de belasting, een beetje zoals voor alle koophuizen hier.
