    I just published the 4th edition of my newsletter on adapting to climate change. I put forward three big issues on adaptation we will learn more about when the report on impacts, adaptation and vulnerability is released in a few weeks.

    Great thread explaining the process finalising the major IPCC report coming up on impacts, adaptation and vulnerability

    In one week, the (= governments) will meet to consider the Working Group II Summary for Policy Makers. Assuming all goes well, the report will be approved by the end of February. An explanatory 🧵on who will be at the meeting, and what we will be discussing.

    Very much looking forward to, but also fear, the released report by the WGII colleagues, which will add a lot of detail and new insights to the 1.5C report, including details about temperature increases beyond 2C. In just a couple of weeks!

    How is climate change impacting us? What risks lie ahead? How should we address them? The next will provide the answers in a punchy summary and 18 chapters based on tens of thousands of studies. Can't wait to share our findings on Feb28! Media friends👇
