Yes, I think the idea that deciding who to vote for is about a lot more than just pure issues alignment is the real takeaway (at least for people who were surprised by their results). And obviously this is just a narrow issue set.

I got Warren #1 and Bernie #2...which is pretty close to what I thought I'd get: Bernie #1 and Warren #2.

And FWIW, if you vote for anyone in the primary for any reason other than agreement with their policy positions, IMO you're doing it wrong.

Notable that if I agree with Yang on X but hardly care about X, it ranks the same as if I agree with Biden on Y and would pick him solely due to his Y policy. If I agree with Warren on 2 things but those 2 things are life and death to me, she gets my vote. TLDR needs weighting.

Also, I don't need to agree with my choice on every issue. We live in a representative democracy. I also vote based on my belief that the candidate will be good at consensus building, and will be a reasonable and responsible commander in chief.

Do you think the quiz is rigged to lean towards certain candidates? I was surprised and mystified how my responses stacked up. Not close to the two I would prefer to win the nomination.

Have you considered you actually don’t care about positions and just care about personalities
