This adds little to nothing to fight gun violence. Ban assault weapons, raise age to purchase, close loopholes in background checks, increase waiting periods, increase funding for mental health treatment. Your lack of leadership to make a meaningful difference will be remembered.
We need to make sure our schools are safe. The #STOPSchoolViolenceAct also focuses on improving & increasing the number of anonymous systems that are out there & in our schools to report suspicious activity. So you don’t think that creating an anonymous reporting mechanism isn’t going to make more issues... kids can be cruel to one another. They WILL use it to target kids that aren’t a threat. There must be accountability for the tipster.

This is putting a bandaid on a gapping head wound. Ban on bump stocks. Raise the minimum age to purchase assault weapons to 21. Universal background checks. I’ll be voting in November, but not for a NRA supported candidate.
