The Protecting Young Victims from Sexual Abuse Act ensures nat’l athletic governing bodies promptly report any allegations of sexual abuse of their athletes to law enforcement, establish mandatory training programs&implement stronger policies to prevent abuse from happening again

Having read the bill, it's very weak. Disappointed in
@SenFeinstein efforts, as one of her constituents. Needs a clearer enforcement mechanism and assigning organizational penalties for failure to comply with reporting requirements. -
It also doesn't consider basic features whereby the organization takes measures to protect itself from liability through settlements predicated on Non-Disclosure, which is the standard tactic and still being exercised by
@USAGym. Sec 102 also needs to go further.
