#Hoosiers deserve a #tax code that rewards their hard work & respects their time. Under our bill, middle-income #families will get to keep MORE of the money they have earned rather than having to send it to the IRS. For example, a typical family of 4 will receive a $1,182 tax cutpic.twitter.com/GIk1G8eDvU

You keep citing this fictional family of 4. Guess what, most of us aren't that family. Nor are we rich. What about single people? College students? Older people? Married people whose kids are grown? SO many people won't benefit. Do better.

Democrats offered an amendment to make corporations use their tax savings to raise workers wages. Every single Republican voted no. #GOPTaxScam

I think your numbers are off. If you eliminate the personal exemptions, doesn’t that negate the increase in the standard deduction? Corporations will not use their huge tax cuts to raise wages and if health care goes up, no savings.

What will this do to college students, and non profits. With no tax incentive to giving for most people, non profits will suffer. Passing sweeping legislation with no hearings, no research is unconscionable

So I get $1,182 but my wife’s social security will get cut by 2019. I bet her pay cut will exceed my tax cut. All the while, your rich contributors can light their cigars with $100 bills.

Except for that $1 trillion in debt that accrues over and over. Somebody's hard earned money is gonna have to pay that off 🙄

We are a family of 6 in your district who will experience a significant tax increase next year if the house version passes. All of us employed at colleges and universities in your district will not forget your vote.

There has not been one public hearing, no opportunity to hear from economists, governors, mayors or ordinary Americans who will be impacted by this tax bill. This is a sham.

Judging from the replies, your constituents aren’t really behind this. Maybe if you talked to them instead of voting with your own greedy pocket book you’d get a better idea about what folks in your district want.
