@boonecosheriff Mike Nielsen’s daughter, also a police officer, tried to take her own life b/c she was struggling w/PTSD after responding to a murder case. Nielsen’s daughter didn't have access to services that could help her process & cope w/the situation she faced that day.Show this thread
The passage of the Law Enforcement Mental Wellness Act through the House today ensures that we are 1step closer to supporting the men & women in #lawenforcement w/the resources they need to stay healthy while selflessly serving our communities & keeping us safe.
