The partisan impeachment inquiry resolution sets out a very different process than was followed in prior impeachment inquiries. FYI, Andrew Johnson was impeached solely with Republican votes. Robert Mueller completed a special counsel investigation referring the matter to Congress.

In past impeachments, the investigation was actually completed and the full results shared with Congress. In this one, Barr's DOJ and the WH are fighting subpoenas, withholding evidence, and obstructing justice.

I'm still waiting for her email reply regarding whether it's okay for the DOJ to withhold the grand jury evidence from the special counsel investigation.
