Today, @CMSGov awarded the @FSSAIndiana+$2,760,000! This grant is intended to increase the capacity of #Medicaid providers to deliver substance use disorder (SUD) treatment & much more to combat Indiana’s devastating #opioidcrisis.
This grant comes from a bill I worked on in @HouseCommerce- the #SUPPRORTAct - which was signed into law last October. IN is 1/15 states awarded funding to assist w/recovery services through an ongoing assessment of the SUD treatment needs of the state.
You wouldn’t need that much if the drug companies weren’t taking advantage of the American people. We’re is the bill to negotiate drug prices?
