The #bipartisan Congressional Caucus for Women’s Issues this week hosted a hearing about sexual harassment entitled, “#MeToo
, What’s Next? Turning a Movement into Action.” This is the 3rd hearing @RepLoisFrankel & I hosted focusing on sexual harassment in the workplace this year.
It's critical we work together, whether in the public or private sectors, in every industry, to find innovative, creative & ultimately effective solutions so that every workplace is a safe environment & is free from harassment of any kind.
Congress is no exception. This hearing highlighted how Congress can help foster safer workplaces throughout our country, even within the halls of Congress, so that men & women can comfortably work without the fear of facing inappropriate behavior.

Cosponsor the reautorization of the Violence Against Women Act and get your fellow Repyblicans to make this a unanimously supported bill. Why are there NO republican co-sponsors? Previous VAWA had bipartisan support. Should be a no-brainer!
Pass ERA to give women same rights as men. Support women's health. Support equal pay for equal work. All of these issue are factors of how women are viewed and treated.
Perfect time to get your views on, say, whether a Supreme Court Nominee should be confirmed if it turns out he has a history of sexual harassment... Asking for a friend.... 65 million, actually.
