Somehow got on tfg and Building our movement e-mail lists. Noted Hillsdale College postings/links. Hillsdale same entity Gov Lee wants for charter schools. Shocked, not shocked. but Blatant.
Republicans scream about “Defund the Police” but not one voted for a once-in-a-generation investment in police and violence prevention. Not one Republican voted to fund cash-strapped local governments and public safety programs. Action speaks louder than words.

Did you know that 51 members of Congress and their spouses own up to $5.8 million worth of defense contractor stocks? Personally, I don't think members of Congress should profit from wars they send other people to fight.

When they moved to ban the Pulitzer Prize winning “Maus” from a Tennessee school district, they cited nudity as one of the reasons for the ban. It must be noted, these are nude MICE. They are angry that the MICE don’t have CLOTHES.

Twelve years ago today, the Supreme Court hung a big “For Sale” sign on our democracy with Citizens United. We need to overturn their disastrous ruling, get big money out of politics, and root corruption out of Washington so we can put power in the hands of the people.

The texts to Mark Meadows from Trump’s family and supporters begging him to call off the attack on the Capitol and bemoaning the failed coup are damning evidence. They knew who was behind it. It was Trump’s last effort to hold onto power.

Inflation is the highest it’s been in 30 years. Double-digit inflation is not transitory.

Americans are paying record high prices for their Thanksgiving turkey while big poultry companies are paying billions in dividends, giving CEOs raises & earning huge profits. These companies are abusing their market power. I’m asking DOJ to investigate.

Wouldn't it be nice if pro-lifers focused on ending the death penalty? Or gun violence? Or suicide prevention? Or stopping police killings? Or fighting poverty? Or combating the opioid epidemic? You know, things that would actually save lives?

States with low vaccination rates and high rates of infection—Texas, Florida, South Carolina, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama — are prime incubators for new vaccine-resistant strains. The virus thanks their governors and lawmakers for providing virtual Petri dishes.

Multiple times today, both on social media and in Commission by other Commissioners, my integrity was called into question. So, let me be clear, I have no financial ties to the resolution to purchase masks for students, not even free masks. Debate me w/o sullying my character.
Long before COVID, I made it known that disease is the greatest enemy of the American people. Our military budget dwarfs spending on health care and other social programs. Invest that money in human needs and make more vaccines, less bombs.

The real enemy of the American people is disease and we need to do all we can to fight that enemy. We need a defense budget, but it’s so large it hogs money from our personal departments of defense, the #NIH and #CDC. #HeartDisease #CancerResearch #EndALZ #DiabetesPrevention

Wait, What? DeJoy, USPS, suggests postal workers go on Medicare, cheaper than USPS paying insurance, well, shifting premium costs. We've been chanting medicare for all, R's flat NO! Yes, DeJoy needs gone yesterday, but interesting take.
