I think this is the most important set of climate numbers I've come across in a decade. They are a Rosetta Stone for understanding why banks and the financial system are at the center of the crisis. Right now capitalism is a suicide machine.

"I'm not laughing & I am guessing nor are the families of the 1000s of American troops & the 100s of 1000s of Iraqis who died in that war." My response to George W. Bush's bizarre Freudian slip, confusing Ukraine & Iraq, while hosting tonight:

If selling a gay couple a wedding cake means a "christian" baker participated in their marriage, does selling a gun to a murderer mean a "christian" gun store owner participated in the murder?

“Abu Akleh’s death is the latest in a long line of journalists killed by the Israeli military, which has a long history of targeting reporters and other members of the media.”

Today is the first day of early voting in the runoff election. I’m running to fight for Medicare for All, good-paying union jobs and to unseat the last anti-choice Democrat in the House. With so much on the line, I hope to earn your vote!

No, Mr. Bezos. Disinformation is Amazon spreading anti-union propaganda & forcing workers to attend illegal captive audience meetings. Disinformation is Amazon blaming a 17% price increase on "inflation" while making a record $35 billion in profits & avoiding $5 billion in taxes.

The claimed this was one of the "stone" throwers that sparked their attack. I synced their video with press video to prove 1) he had no stone 2) his action was putting his body between them and Shireen Abu Akleh's casket (thread coming)

By the logic I’ve been seeing on my timeline, anyone who denounces this violence apparently hates Israel and is an anti-semite. Shameful.

I'm deeply disturbed by the lack of outrage from Western journalists & the US government re: Israel's killing of Shireen Abu Akleh. It reinforces what we as Palestinians have long felt: that there is little regard for our humanity.

Israel literally flattened the offices of Al Jazeera and the Associated Press last year in Gaza. 50 journalists slain since 2000. You think they're telling the truth after multiple, seasoned journalists all said the same thing: the israelis shot at us and killed Shireen?

In 1987, mourners at South African activist Ashley Kriel’s funeral were attacked by Apartheid police. Today, the same scene repeats itself with IOF attacking mourners at Shireen Abu Aqleh’s funeral. Apartheid will fall in Palestine as it fell in South Africa.

Shireen was a Palestinian-American, Christian, female journalist. Where's the outrage from the women's rights groups? The "Christian" right in America? Where's their outrage over her killing and this barbarism during her funeral procession? Too coward to criticize israel?

SHAME!! An occupying force attacking the funeral of the subjugated minority to crush dissent. We’ve seen this before. This is what apartheid looks like. The world is watching.
