I still believe it's a shame that voted against capping insulin prices! We need to make life easier for working Kentuckians, and that includes Healthcare costs! We need a leader who will help workers, not wealthy donors!

Bill Barr didn’t just turn a “blind eye” to Russian collusion. He knowingly and willingly dismissed the evidence of Russian Collusion to protect his boss, Donald Trump, from the rule of law.
See he is just revengeful for his restaurant having to go closed during covid! So let’s not support this bigot who supported the GOP hosting the cop with a book deal!

Vilson Qehaja , owner of Anna’s Restaurant, says the support from the community after @GovAndyBeshear announcement of closures has been overwhelming. They already have 100 reservations today for the last night of indoor dining. A typical Thursday would have 30-40. @wnkytv

Moore v. Harper could be one of the most consequential Supreme Court cases for our democracy.
You might just now be hearing about it — but it could let extremist state legislatures pick the next president without you.
Oral arguments begin today.

Many in the KY leg are spending the week in Hawaii at the (Lexington-based) Council of State Governments conference. Looks like some of KY's top lobbyists went, too, and are hosting a reception for the lawmakers. ^AH

Mental health is important. Increasing access to mental health is also important, especially coming out of a pandemic. That is why I am deeply disappointed in for voting against increasing mental health. Kentucky, we can do better.

Something to consider: there is the prospect of litigation in every state in which Trump files, based on lawsuits to disqualify him via the Fourteenth Amendment bar on insurrectionists running for office.

And isn't Elaine Chao Chinese?
And isn't Mitch just plain old white?
And didn't Mitch just vote AGAINST inter-racial marriage?

The answer is legalized bribery masquerading as campaign contributions. No other country allows this level of openly obscene and rampant corruption in politics. It’s time for us to adopt publicly funded elections by ending citizens united once and for all. #EndCitizensUnited
Let's be clear. Eli Lilly should apologize for increasing the price of insulin by over 1,200% since 1996 to $275 while it costs less than $10 to manufacture. The inventors of insulin sold their patents in 1923 for $1 to save lives, not to make Eli Lilly's CEO obscenely rich.

Yes, they can still use the House to cause all kinds of damage, but their best shot to even regroup to mount a campaign to win back the White House is in 2026, and by 2028, shifting demographics may undo all the gerrymandering they did after redistricting.

Not having governors, GOP legislatures, etc to rig the key swing states that Trump lost in 2020, Republicans cannot win enough states to get an electoral college win in 2024. It's over. And thats why you're seeing the GOP implode even though they could still win the House.

2. Use state legislatures to throw out electoral college votes for Biden and give the GOP the electoral college win.
Thanks to Democratic turnout in these 2022 midterms and voting down ballot, we won too many of those pivotal races for that to be a viable strategy.

Any discussion about the fall of the Democratic Party in rural Kentucky starts with the politicalization of Kentucky's clergy over the last two decades. The politicalization of our churches has been a big factor. Church pulpits have become little more than GOP talking points.
