Absolutely should... Especially with so many NHS patients being farmed out to private hospitals where emergency care, if required, is not available.

Absolutely and unless you’ve experienced it nothing can describe the level of evil, toxic, deceit mind screwing experience. I suffer for 4 years under a Director at the NHS Western Isles and If I wrote it out, you’d never believe me. I’m hard as nails but this broke me

Part of it is mind games and gas lighting including the staging of strange events to help you think you are losing your mind.

We should have the best. We are served the worst. The regulators themselves are archaic & out of touch. The CEOs are ignorant and arrogant to learning. You have double trouble when the 2 fail patients and the public. It’s beyond belief and is totally unacceptable

Lesley and all the other victims are inspirational people who continue in their fight for liability and regulatory changes to secure patient safety. We will all be a patient at some points in our lives and they are doing this for us.

A reminder to all that more awareness and training is needed on how to treat health problems. is so important, yet so many GP’s don’t know it exists and it’s a postcode lottery if you can get it on the NHS!

It just re-iterates for me the danger that no mater what positive work and happy clappy programmes are announced, the dark corners of the NHS, of which there are sadly many, carry on regardless. They need to be grabbed by the scruff of the neck and thrust into the sunlight

The analysis of Patterson's motivations were limp as well. Has nobody mentioned narcissism and psychopathy today or have any understanding of them ?

It is the same pathology every time. It can be explained in terms of narcissism and psychopathy. Bishop James only referenced the pathology as "wickedness" and "willful blindness". But someone ought to properly spell out the pathology in the NHS eg deep institutional narcissism.

I exposed the Bristol heart scandal in in 1992. Many recommendations of the Bristol Inquiry could have been cut & pasted into the Paterson inquiry. People at many levels of the NHS & private sector knew what was happening but failed to act to protect patients.

The buck stops here. Years of failure to secure safe reporting and an open NHS culture. Tx for your faithful record of this ongoing disaster.
