Fascinating evidence of the pressure UK parents place on @TaviAndPort in their campaign for earlier medical intervention (both puberty blockers and cross sex hormones).https://growinguptransgender.wordpress.com/2017/11/27/puberty-blockers-gnrha/ …

"Fully reversible". Yet, "No adolescent withdrew from puberty suppression, and all started cross-sex hormone treatment" (De Vries et al., 2011) compared to ~80% desistance without PB http://www.sexologytoday.org/2016/01/do-trans-kids-stay-trans-when-they-grow_99.html …

The campaign is for evidence based practice. They're not calling for interventions to be offered arbitrarily, they're saying tavistock seems to be allowing unsubstantiated prejudices to cloud their practice.

"Hormone therapy to induce puberty consistent with their gender identity" (American guidelines). My understanding from other reading is that blockers followed by cross-sex hormones means no puberty of any kind, just development of secondary chatacteristics. Can anyone confirm?

Please show me where I "seem to want to increase the scope of transition". The research conflates trans kids with non conforming.

We also read the papers (and the PhD thesis) you know? Don't feed us with BS.

Zucker's work and older studies are dismissed just because they are not according to current trans creed. Yet none of the promoters of said creed (Serano etc) has a peer reviewed paper published with their criticisms.
