I tried phoning for over a week and just got a message saying there is nobody available to take your call. Ended up complaining on their Twitter site and ended up DM my details bd getting done that way.

Isn’t it amazing, if you rob a bank the police have to prove you did it, get witnesses, dna, fingerprints even then they are not successful , but if you have a tv and tell the BBC you don’t watch their programmes they can still take you to court without proof.

Always good to be in control & cancel Direct Debit with bank. I did this & it worked as I got my Sony LCD TV whilst living in Australia & it doesn't receive BBC/ITV channels & is streamed to internet plus subscription to Neflix. BBC programmes are very poor & not interesting.

BBC has too many low grade (so called) "comedy" programmes - eg: Mrs Brown's Boys or late night/reality shows (very unfunny). Not watched anything on BBC for ages as TV scheduling not like it used to be. They have also sent aggressive letters to pensioners chasing fees!
