    Here's why Canada's Conservatives should *not* be following Australia's example on #climate and #carbon, via @DonLenihan: https://www.nationalnewswatch.com/2019/01/03/jason-kenneys-war-on-anti-oil-activists-is-the-general-over-playing-his-hand/#.XC4D5y0ZNZ0 … #cdnpoli

Choices we have are a C tax that pushes consumers off fossil fuel by making it unaffordable or policies that make alternatives viable(available & affordable). No govt on planet is foolhardy enough to tax ffs out of existence before there’re alternatives. Current C tax is a fraud.

Good read. I wonder if climate change will be the sleeper issue Federally in that the electorate will indicate there are very serious issues and immediate action is necessary and population is ready to accept it. Climate deniers will be scoffed at and ridiculed.

Then who should we follow?? France? Gremany? US? China? They have all walked back from the Paris Accord, as their green programs have either miserably failed or are not not willing to kill their economy for the wealth distribution scheme.

PS. The Liberals have been in power longer than Tories - since Kyoto and we are not going to reach targets - and have no way of reaching the false goals.
