Moscone Center is such an important economic engine--it brings in $2 billion in direct spending a year & supports 10s of 1000s of jobs. Hotel & hospitality were hit incredibly hard. I'm proud to support rent incentives in proposed budget to bring people, conventions & jobs back.

I'm sorry to hear that. I've been in office for 2.5 years, half of it during pandemic, i have fought for cleaning, safety, mental health care, to get homeless people inside into housing & treatment. Im committed to making this city better for everyone. All the best to you Jason.

Stop bullying the man and show some respect in your communications. I have been following his work and he is trying to do right by this city.

I know Jason and I think he’s a resident who pays a lot of taxes and isn’t seeing the city get better, just worse.

I understand that. But he doesn't need to be rude in the way he approaches a public official who, in my experience, is working hard to improve the very situation that Jason is complaining about. I write to politicians all the time. Most do not even respond.

Read my column out next week about the Tenderloin. People who live there and have businesses there don’t feel Matt is responsive to them at all.
