    I saw that posted a photo of me "In Memoriam" rather than the intended Andre Previn. Andre deserved better. I had the opportunity to introduce him when he received the . Perhaps he was paying me back for a couple stories I told about him. Andre, R.I.P.

    Both SSO-A sails are relatively large for a drag sail with an area of 16m3 each. After being automatically deployed 24 hours after launch, both radar and visual observations have confirmed their successful deployment.

    The two SSO-A sails launched in December and are deorbiting the two large deployment platforms known as Upper and Lower Free Flyers which deployed the 64 satellites on their record setting mission. Here's a link to their mission video

    Surreys REMDEB-NET now passing though 260km! Re-entry predicted 2nd March. The cubesat enclosed by the NET will be the first element of the mission to re-enter and burn up in the atmosphere.

    The Remove Debris NET Experiment containing the student built DS1 Cubesat has lost almost 100km since deployment and is now at 300km altitude. Re-entry predictions current centre around March 4th.
