        #PTSD symptoms reflect the mind's healthy attempt to heal itself, to re-integrate and, in this way, to regain the adequacy of functioning that it possessed before experiencing unbearable #stress. PTSD also reflects that the mind has limited capacities.

        I was hit head on by a car travelling 80 mph in 1984. It was a police chase coming my way. I walked away alive. But my life changed forever with TBI. I left my family immediately within a month. I've become a stranger to my three kids & 7 grandkids 34 years ago my life dissolved.
