State/federal govt are addressing this by cutting opioid production & limiting prescriptions to legitimate pain patients. This isn't the population at risk of OD yet its who they target. The situation is so dire that cancer & hospice patients aren't having pain adequately treated

Far bigger impact on our future is untreated pain. Overreaching policy is affecting legit pain patients. Cancer & hospice patients aren't having pain adequately treated. Denying the masses when less than 5% addict is not the answer. Illicit fentanyl is the danger not Rx opioids
