I don't believe anyone ever downplayed how antagonists can save lives. The same as no one can downplay those antagonists are hepatotoxic. You want addiction to be a disease, gender to mean sex and antagonists to not be hepatotoxic? English and medicine are degrees.

Not that surgeons haven't been in the spotlight to reduce opiate/opioid use by fixing health problems before. Still a surgeon bias debate of, if they want to operate on damage that could be from antagonists.
