But dont punish the injured whom choose not to be a statistic! I have 7 permanent injuries, now handicapped & I have to fight for alternate treatment & my EARNED disability. I have been working since 1988! If I was an addict everyone would be handing me everything.

Pls remember that less than 5% of those prescribed opioids for pain become addicted. Yet

I was surprised to see the last surgeon general calling addiction a disease. I tried to help him, but he chose the business in a box executive route, instead of opening some common dictionaries. Opioids are synthetic opiates, epidemic solved.
