What about those with Chronic Pain, Chronic Illnesses whose lives are now thrown into a tailspin-or worse death. Due to much too strictly defined 'rules' being applied to pain patients, which are for those who ARE addicted.

It’s great that they’re fighting the opioid epidemic. But sad for those of us with genetic autoimmune diseases who have chronic pain. Now doctors treat us like drug addicts & we don’t get to have a life, just suffer in pain & can’t be active.

How about a study on health and gun violence

There have been & will continue to be more suicides among those with chronic pain. Also, doctors are discriminating & some won’t even accept patients with chronic pain & say they are “too complicated”

Please make sure acupuncture is a covered nondrug approach to manage pain and help people with a wellness approach.

Japan and Singapore I believe use acupuncture as part of their health care and live a better quality of life longer. They also eat better and more exercise.
