I appreciate all who shared their perspectives on the e-cigarette epidemic with @POTUS, and applaud the President for listening. I’m convinced we can find a way to protect youth while recognizing vaping as a potential offramp for adult smokers from combustible tobacco!

Thank you Dr. Adams. Just a small point: e-cigarettes are not "a POTENTIAL off-ramp for adult smokers." They are a PROVEN off-ramp for at least 3.3 million smokers who now use them exclusively in the US. This is an astonishing success, utterly ignored by public health.

It's really not. It is low key propoganda. He still calls vaping an epidemic that requires action to "protect kids" It is very much on message for him. I'm not falling for it.
