Will you speak about chronic pain patients? 50 million in the US. Yet 1.7 million addicted to opioids.

Not publicly b/c we’ve asked!! He only makes an occasional tweet and I’m starting to think it’s just to appease us. Is that what your doing @Surgeon_General @JeromeAdamsMD yet this keeps happening, how many more must suffer/diepic.twitter.com/1sDENdZMzZ

Here are 5 things you can do: Get the DEA out of our doctor's offices. Treat pain patients humanely. Stop conflating illegal with legal medications. Stop pushing suboxone on pain patients. Let us live with dignity.

I would add: Speak honestly about pain treatment, opiate medicine, and alternatives. Those alternative treatments don’t work for everyone and are contraindicated for some.

Again, conflating the ILLICIT OD problem with prescriptions & pain patients. MOST ODs may happen at home but they damn well aren't because of people are taking a script for their pain. Stop it. For the love of GOD! Stop it! Ppl are suffering & dying due the #GreatOpioidLiepic.twitter.com/J7WfGBXf0e

Breaking News Alert ‼️98% of our countries overdoses are caused by illegal/elicit fentanyl and heroin. Not prescription medications. This government overreach discriminatory treatment of chronic pain patients is barbaric and is turning into the new genocide.

We need help with pain control NOW! When are you going to address our needs? Pain patients have rights and don’t deserved to be tortured by these made up facts and figures.

Funny how people (like me) who suffer with Chronic Pain from a failed (Multilevel Thoracic and Lumbar) surgery are treated like addicts. While the actual real addicts are the problem. Millions live in pain when they shouldn't have to which leads thousands to Suicide for relief.
