why not develop best practices in pain management with the AMA?
I’m at #ANES19 opioid session where best practices to manage acute and chronic pain are being discussed. A great time to share this!

In this report it also says NOT 2 TAPER OR DISCONTINUE long term opioid use unless both Dr & patient agree or life threatening! & not always necessary 2 have patient chose between opioid or benzo. Also tolerance & withdrawal (dependence)R not a diagnosis 4 OUD!
