The guidance follows the release of new data showing lung illnesses associated with e-cigarette or vaping products in 49 states, DC and the U.S. Virgin Islands – totaling 1,299 cases (as of 10/8/19). Of those, there have been 26 deaths in 21 states.

@CDCgov reported 76% of the cases involved THC products (with or without nicotine) and recommends avoiding e-cigarette or vaping products that contain THC. They also reiterated that NO youth, young adult or pregnant women should use ANY e-cigarette or vaping product.Show this thread -

Is THC testing mandated for anyone presenting with these symptoms? If it were they could detect the problem a lot sooner. If a patient is presented unresponsive a drug panel is required immediately, why not THC for these, it's not like the THC tests are expensive.
