It is only natural when one is experiencing unending, constant, & incurable severe physical pain that becomes increasingly much harder to bare, that it would also effect ones psychological, emotional, & spiritual side as well. It's only natural. #ChronicPain

With the right treatment & level of pain relief, physical pain & suffering can improve. In turn improving the psychological, emotional, & spiritual aspects as well. Adequate pain relief is NOT an option, it is ESSENTIAL.

Some people choose death instead of living with untreated pain - so yeah - chronicpain checks all four boxes.

severe, intractable, untreated / untreated, physical pain can trigger psychological distress and suffering. the corr goes in both directions. but the 10th decile of the cp population needs opioids.

As I sit here in pain since 1972. & chronically since 1995 or so I have to wander ...what would you want for #ChronicPain @Surgeon_General ? Lip service or drugs? I bet drugs. It’s all so hypocritical to ask people to hurt when relief is available.

What about people with broken bodies? Failed surgeries #Meshdevices . Incurable conditions Cancer? Terminal patients are being denied pain relief in many areas. This is an abomination and you know it is. #DawnAnderson double amputee, kidney failing, pain not mental #Elderabuse

Medical treatment now ignores physical pain. Terminal patients die, denied pain tx, to prevent addiction. Patients with musculoskeletal disorders forced into organ damage with NSAID, pushed into dangerous repeated shots. Pts with 'invisible' pain are tx and abused as mental.

Pile on the #stigma eh? People do have pain from chronic degenerative diseases that are hereditary and not one thing in their past is responsible for it. #DontShamePain
