#DYK there are about 84M American adults with prediabetes, though only 1 in 10 know they have it? Late diagnosis of diabetes can often lead to chronic and end stage renal disease. More than 30M Americans have some stage of kidney disease, making it the 9th leading cause of death in the U.S. We can – and MUST – do more. Glad that @HHSGov is working hard to #TransformKidneyCare in the U.S. and improve outcomes for all patients.
