I just asked the crowd – how many people know how to use naloxone?…very few hands were raised
That’s why I issued an advisory encouraging more people to #GetNaloxone.https://www.hhs.gov/surgeongeneral/priorities/opioids-and-addiction/naloxone-advisory/index.html …Show this thread -
We need everyone to continue to be part of the solution by carrying Naloxone. Anyone can save a life, if they have naloxone on hand.

Theres no *Prescription*opioid epidemic. Additional distribution cuts 2019 make it nearly impossible for many cancer&intractable cpps to get a rx, even if a very few MDs still prescribe. FACTS: Hospitals report a shortage in iv injectables. The newcrisis. Reality out here doc.

Medical advances =save lives & cancer pts can outlive/surpass the traditional life expectancy. We have to accept the reality of life-long pain & address pain appropriately/compassionately. The hoops a cpp/cancer pt jumps through monthly criminalizes the pt—it’s inhumane!
