I’m sorry but notall ppl who need pain relief do it because of addiction. Most of patients age 50 or older just need to relieve physical pain

Whose going to illustrate to this Nation that untreated pain is just as deadly as addiction? Who in government is going to speak for the millions of pain patients that are being denied any type of pain relief due to stories of addiction that have no bearing to their lives?

You can bet the politicians & elite get treated as always, w/ appropriate paincare. Until they get treated as we do, they don’t care. How many in Congress hv gotten their or family members meds cut? Undoubtedly NONE! No one can tell me they’re all free from CP.

Yeah and my sister has been addicted for 20 years and I'm smart enough to know it was her choice to take pain pills with the intention of getting high so I blame her, not Sally in Indiana who has fibromyalgia. Maybe I should be Surgeon General.

"even the brother of the SG." ??? WTF makes him think he is so special? All of those politicians and dept heads think they are somehow magically immune from the maladies that infect regular people. 
I don’t think that is the case. I think he is just reminding ppl it happens to everyone. But I would love to know if it started from a legal rx or not. That would be the important piece of info here.
