Putting in some work in the ORs at ⁦@WRBethesda⁩ - got to help with some interesting cases and saw several people get Tylenol and other meds to help provide anesthesia and post-op pain relief with minimal opioids. They all woke up comfy and happy! 😃 ⁦@ASALifeline⁩pic.twitter.com/J5ukgkok37

2/2 Also guessing others other didn’t see (or care to look for) my tweets in favor of chronic pain patients and not inappropriately applying CDC guidelines... Opioids ARE overprescribed in US- need to make sure those who benefit get them, those who don’t, don’t... Happy 4th!pic.twitter.com/vizMt3hgVs

1\ Respectfully, sir, we pain patients need more from you than tweeting that journal article. We are dying & DOJ, DEA are still coming for the few doctors left willing to treat. #Opioidstigma is at an all-time high; public dsnt understand pain pts have a legit need for pain meds.

2\ You set the pace for Tx in this great nation. In order to turn the tide & save lives, we need doctors like u to speak up for us consistently - to educate public, media, & lawmakers. What you are seeing in that thread is desperation & frustration borne of unimaginable suffering

Totally appreciated sentiment, 🙏🏼 but UNLESS YOU hold an emergency meeting...& discuss the #SuicideDue2Pain happening & the #HumanRights VIOLATIONS of not being treated HUMANLY with ORAL #pain medications, this #Genocide against citizens with #IntractablePain will sadly continue.pic.twitter.com/4nA8AhBv24

Due to be bombarded w/the opioid epidemic 24/7, I worry day &night abt my meds being stopped. I worry abt having any kind of hospital surgery w/little pain relief. Mostly, I worry I will not be able to endure the pain w/o meds.Besides myself, it wld kill my family. #FeelMyPain

CDC data shows no cause and effect relationship between rates of opioid prescription and rates of overdose-related mortality. People under 25 have the lowest rates of prescription, but their OD mortality has skyrocketed over 20 years to rates 6 times higher than srs over 55.

I cannot get adequate pain treatment even after the article you are citing. Your office needs to rescind the CDC guidelines. Step up big time and take a stance not a clarification that took 3 years!

@Surgeon_General The opiate argument is moot since all narcotics at any dose are now targeted. I have several rare complex diseases and not taking an opiate but cannot find a doctor brave enough to continue life saving low dose narcotic therapy. CDC created a Medical Genocide.

How is Josh doing with that report you gave him? Still anxiously waiting to see it....😉As for the SG, is he really so clueless that he does not understand the damage he and others have done to us? Oh silly me, thats right, of course he does!!! Evil, all of them.

Acupuncture & worthless invasive & noninvasive therapy or treatments CANNOT relieve pain like a thousands of years old medication. 20 years of HIDDEN DATA from the public of UNTESTED #implants & #medicaldevices have caused irreparable damaged to innocent citizens. #fraudpic.twitter.com/wTP9CSIq4p
