My story: I got injured on the job by someone else, & now I get to be in pain for the rest to my life because no doctor in these parts will prescribe or even treat people w/ chronic pain because of #opiatehysteria. Hurting us brings no one back & prevents no deaths. The end.
My story: I have a painful birth defect, surgery at 18 that tempted to correct it but after awhile that surgery caused lots of pain. Moral of the story, no help for that pain anymore.

#PAIN My metro area is 4 million ppl. Abundance of drs yet I can't find ONE to treat my pain appropriately. My life was fairly normal at a therapeutic #opioid dose. Cut by 75% & homebound. My new choice is more reduction to 50 mme or pain pump. It's unethical! #PewTalksOpioids
Good morning sir, I feel badly and sad for those who addict and their families. This opiate hysteria and addiction phobia has created another epidemic against chronic pain patients. You cannot put these 2 very separate issues into the same silo. We need your help...
and influence to correct the narrative against these patients, and I am one. I know you’re aware of the hundreds of CPPs that have chosen to take their own lives instead of being tortured 25x7, 365 days a year. This narrative has created another epidemic and it needs to stop.
