PROTECT Chronic Pain Pt's!MANY pt's are being UNDER-treated, due to all the opioid rhetoric. We look forward to the day when CPP & all that are suffering w/ constant pain are given EQUAL amt of attention & emphasis, on their intractable chronic pain.
Just got an update from @SecAzar at HHS Senior Leaders Retreat. On opioids- “we’ve got a ways to go, but many major indicators going in the right direction-> Naloxone prescribing up over 400%, & MAT availability up 25%.” Must keep pressing, but there is progress and hope!
